🐴 Heartbreaking Sale – Much Loved 10-Year-Old Gelding 🐴

📍 Location: Cornard

💷 Price: On application

16.2–16.3hh | 10 years old | Gelding

This is an incredibly sad sale, and one I never thought I would be writing. Unfortunately, I feel I am totally out-horsed, and I have to put his needs first and find him a home where he can thrive and be enjoyed to his full potential. ❤️

He is a genuine, kind-hearted boy who is happy to turn his hoof to pretty much anything asked of him. He will happily have a go at cross-country, show jumping, dressage, hunting and pleasure rides, making him a lovely all-rounder.

He is genuinely a good soul to have around, although he certainly has a character! 😂 He will happily knock over your wheelbarrow while you’re doing the jobs and thinks nothing of pulling absolutely everything out of your grooming kit. He definitely keeps you entertained!

🐴 Stable & Management

Happy to live in or out.

A very good doer – quite literally lives off air!

Good to travel and load.

Good for the farrier, worming and clipping.

Up to date with vaccinations, worming and feet.

Dentist booked for tomorrow.

Has pads on his front feet. His bridle needs to be taken apart to put on, but he is fine to have it removed.

❤️ Things to Be Aware Of

Can be a little tricky to catch when mares are in season.

Can nap when first leaving the yard to hack out. Nothing malicious, but he needs a rider who can confidently encourage him forwards.

This is not a decision being made lightly, and finding the right home is far more important than a quick sale. He deserves someone who feels confident with him and can enjoy everything he has to offer.

He has so much to give the right person, and this really is a heartbreaking decision. 💔

🏡 A genuine, loving home is an absolute priority.
