American Paint x Cob Gelding looking for a new Home

Standing 13.3 (should make 14.1) | Rising 4 | North Derbyshire

Meet Tom a lovely looking piebald gelding with a sweet nature, who has been broken in earlier this year and is proving to be a willing and genuine pony.

Due to a change in circumstances sad sale of this lovely boy whom l brought earlier this year with intentions of becoming my main mount next year

He has taken his early education in his stride and has been fantastic with a 12 year old child, happily walking, trotting and cantering He is also been hacking out alone and on a group ride, and has been introduced to roadwork & traffic which does not bother him, he has spent many hours being long reined out in traffic previously before being introduced to traffic with a rider on his back

He’s looking for a kind knowledgeable, experienced home to enjoy him and to further his education, as with his age he is still green and needs more schooling. He has never bucked or reared throughout his education, a very quick learner whom should make a lovely all rounder with the right education.

Good to load and travel

Good for the farrier

Has been stabled and happy to be left alone in it whilst the other horses leave the yard

Good to groom and handle & tacked up

Good to pick his feet out

Good to clip

Hacking out and introduced to road work/traffic

Up to date with farrier & worming

Vaccination Upto date

Tom has been nothing but willing throughout his education so far and Although he has shown himself to be lovely with a 12 year old on him his education is still ongoing, and he is looking for the right person to guide him through the next stage of his development. I have rode him to assess him for brief periods but am going to be too heavy for him and his development is my priority.

A kind, knowledgeable and experienced home is essential, where Tom can continue to learn at his own pace and reach his full potential

He is getting his winter woolies at the moment and only being rode about one every two weeks, but comes back into work just the same. He is ready for someone to put their own stamp on him

Will come with his bridle but no other tack
