🐎❤️ 3YO FILLY BY ELZAM — 15.3HH — WHAT A LITTLE STAR! ❤️🐎
Now this is exactly the sort of young horse we love finding new homes for! 😍
Beautiful 3-year-old, 15.3hh Thoroughbred filly by Elzam, recently out of racing simply because she wasn’t making the grade on the track.
And what a lovely little horse she is!
The video is her very first time being ridden and assessed here with us, and she impressed us with everything we asked of her.
She moves exceptionally well, straight and with a lovely natural way of going. She’s been introduced to coloured poles, happily trots over them and is willing to have a go at a little jump with further education. We certainly haven’t pushed her — she’s only three, and there’s absolutely no rush.
She happily hacks out on her own, has lovely manners in the stable and is a total sweetheart to deal with. No known injuries or stable vices.
What really stands out is her attitude. She’s kind, willing and genuinely seems to want to please. You can’t put a price on that in a young horse! ❤️
I could see her making a cracking little all-rounder, a lovely dressage prospect or potentially a smart eventer with the right education. She could even make a beautiful show riding horse.
She may also appeal to a capable young rider coming off ponies who wants a quality horse to produce, with suitable experienced support.
She’s not a finished schoolmaster — she’s a three-year-old with a lovely foundation and plenty of potential.
Her options really are wide open, and whatever direction she goes in, I think she’s going to be a little star.
Sometimes the ones that don’t quite make it on the racecourse turn out to be absolute gems elsewhere. 🥰
