🐴 16.2hh ISH Mare🐴 7🥕🥕🥕 ONO including full wardrobe Putting some feelers out for a lovely 16.2hh, 13-year-old Irish Sports Horse mare. She is genuinely the sweetest, kindest horse and is not marish at all. She absolutely loves people, being groomed and having a fuss made of her – especially when you find her favourite itchy spot! She is the sort of horse who will happily stand around with you all day for attention. ❤️ Good to do on the ground in all ways. Fantastic to hack alone or in company. She is forward-going without being silly or strong, definitely isn’t a plod, but is a very safe and sensible ride. Brilliant in all traffic and around livestock and takes most things in her stride. The most she will ever do is spook and then carry on. With reassurance from her rider she will go past anything. She is a real confidence giver and has a lovely, reassuring nature when out hacking. When hacking alone, she can sometimes be a little slow to leave the yard, so she does need a more confident rider for this, and again is forward. Once you get her going, she is absolutely fine and settles into the hack really well. She is also the same horse to ride if left for a few weeks and doesn’t need to be ridden every day. I’ve mainly hacked her because that’s what I enjoy, but she has hunted and team chased in previous homes and has also done light schooling, so she has experience doing a bit of everything. She is a little green in the school, but is very willing and would suit someone who is happy with a lovely all-round horse who is more experienced out hacking than she is in the school. She is up to date with everything health-wise, including dentist, physio and vaccinations, and is fully shod. She has also had a full vet health check with no concerns. She can come with a full wardrobe including a recently fitted saddle, rugs etc. – she has absolutely loads! For full disclosure, she did windsuck when she first came to me, butI very rarely see her do it now. She has had a vet check with no concerns regarding ulcers and is currently on a gut supplement. Mentioning this simply to be completely transparent.
