Lickeen Fionn 5 year old 15hh all class 1 breeding Connemara gelding N/N HWSD A quality over height Connemara with Frederiksminde Hazy Merlin and Village Boy bloodlines, combining proven international performance breeding with traditional Irish jumping lines. Professionally started and backed by ourselves at GO Equine over the last few months, he has been produced carefully and slowly with his future in mind. Proved to be one of the smartest and easy going horses we have ever started, picks everything up fast and always given such a safe feeling, A flashy, quality horse with plenty of scope and a fantastic trainable attitude, he is schooling nicely on the flat and has begun his jumping career under saddle. He has been free schooled over 1.20m with ease and shows great natural ability. He is excellent to hack both alone and in company, always snaffle mouthed. On the ground he has the temperament and personality to match his good looks. He loves people and other horses, a very friendly and social to be around. All his groundwork has been done with the idea of liberty work behind it making him very respectful to handle, he has also started bridleless/tackless work. Perfect for feet, bathing, vet, loading and travelling. He has been to arena hires and xc schooling, and attended his first show this weekend very he was exceptionally well behaved and calm in the new environment and took it all in his stride. He is now ready to continue his journey with a competitive or ambitious rider looking for an amazing young horse to finish off producing that’s had the right start, he has everything going for him to excel in a jumping/eventing career. Equally he would make an amazing all rounder mother/daughter share type being such a safe and willing young horse. A genuinely exciting prospect with all the attributes to go far in any discipline.
