Aklah Adante – 11-year-old Warmblood gelding by Future Gravitas, 16’1 Owned and loved for the past 7 years but now I’m working full time. This is an incredibly difficult decision, so please only genuine enquiries. Dan has successfully competed BD to Novice level and has always produced some lovely scores and feedback. He hasn’t been out competing since last year simply because I haven’t had the time, not through any fault of his. He has three quality paces and is a very eye-catching mover. Excellent to shoe, clip and load, and hacks happily both alone and in company. The only thing he isn’t keen on is bikes. When he was younger he also enjoyed a little showing and jumping, although he hasn’t done either for a few years, so would be green if returning to those disciplines. He is always well mannered and sensible, but he isn’t a novice ride. He can be a little lazy when schooling and can be spooky in a competition environment, so he needs a competent rider who can ride positively and consistently. I genuinely believe that with regular work and confidence, this will continue to improve. He can also be grumpy in the stable. He has previously had maintenance hock injections, although he hasn’t had any for the last couple of years. Very realistically priced to find the right home, just above mid fours.
