Reluctantly for sale Benny, a 13.1hh, 5yo chunky registered Dartmoor pony I have owned Benny for nearly 2 years, he came to me as an unbroken, very cheeky boy. I put in a lot of time and work to build his confidence on the ground and I backed him myself in September 2024. He is golden on the roads with cars, however larger vehicles are still a bit scary! Never naughty or silly just gets nervous. He’s done some schooling and seen poles but not a lot so can get shy to them. Never jumped or tried to jump him due to his age I don’t like to rush them. Never bucked, reared or kicked. Very gentle to handle but can need a firm telling every once in a while when he decides to get too big for his boots! Cheeky fun boy that is a super quick learner and will excel in whatever asked of him. Happy out alone or in a herd however gets a bit grumpy sharing food!! Would be perfect as a summer project for a confident child/small teen. NOT FOR A NOVICE, due to his age and being green. Good to bath & groom. Plenty of pics and videos on request. Not in a rush to sell as he is happy at home, however he is wasted with me due to not having a ménage, I just don’t have the time he needs to progress his career. Leicestershire £4950 Ono
