Neville – Gorgeous Dartmoor Hill Pony Bay Gelding | 12hh | 16 years young Don’t let his age fool you – Neville certainly hasn’t had a hard life and has plenty of years left for potentially many more riders. Neville would make an ideal 1.5/second pony, a confident first ridden, or he’s equally happy as a lead rein pony. He is currently ridden by my fearless 5-year-old, who absolutely adores him! On the ground, Neville is an absolute gentleman. My 5-year-old can handle him independently in the stable, groom him, lead him, and generally fuss over him for hours. He loves attention and will happily follow you around in the hope you’ve got a treat in your pocket! Neville has never bucked, reared or napped. He’s a lovely forward-going ride without being strong or silly, and comes straight back when asked. He has a fantastic all-round CV and has enjoyed: * Pony Club * Private and group lessons * Fun rides * Cross-country rides * Showing With his previous rider, he finished the season with: 1st Dressage 1st Mountain & Moorland 2nd Equitation Qualified for STARS Championships Neville is brilliant in the school and will happily hack alone or in company, on roads or across fields. He’s easy to manage in every way, turning out happily with mares, geldings, youngsters or on his own. He’s been out in the day, night or 24/7, he’s happy with all options. We’ve owned Neville since December, and he has exceeded every expectation. The only reason he’s for sale is because we have too many ponies and my son has decided he wants to concentrate on show jumping, where his other pony is better suited. Neville deserves a home where he’ll be loved and enjoyed. As far as we’re aware, Neville has never been lame (we’re in touch with all of his previous owners).
