FOR SALE: Pete the Pony – 13.2hh, 7yo Connemara Legend Ladies and gentlemen, may we present… Pete. Part pony, part therapist, part diva (but only when a water tray is involved). This 13.2hh purebred Connemara gelding is the total package, and he knows it. Let’s talk logistics first, because Pete’s basically a five-star guest: good to shoe, clip, for the dentist and vet, easy to catch, loads like a dream and travels without a fuss. Genuinely, he’s easier than getting the kids out the door for school. Now, the fine print — Pete does have opinions. Fillers and water trays are, in his professional opinion, clearly portals to another dimension and should be treated with extreme suspicion . Aside from that dramatic flair, he’s as genuine as they come. What Pete lacks in filler-tolerance, he makes up for in heart. This pony rebuilt our daughter’s confidence brick by brick after a proper knock, and hasn’t looked back since — carrying her round her first ODE at 70cm, out to country shows, Pony Club rallies and camp, competitions, arena hires and XC training, all with that “watch me” sparkle in his eye. He’s a genuine anyone’s pony — happy to step down for a nervous or novice rider, or keep going for someone wanting to push on and compete. Leave him in the field for a week and hop back on, and he’ll simply pick up right where you left off, no fuss, no fireworks. Turn him loose on a hack or let him stretch his legs galloping across a field and he is, quite simply, having the time of his life. Living his best pony life, every single day. Kind, genuine, endlessly forgiving, and a proper little confidence machine — Pete just wants to please and have fun. He’s up to date with vaccinations, comes with a green passport, and — because he’s clearly used to the good life — a full tack and wardrobe collection included. The only reason he’s for sale is that my daughter has outgrown him — if I could grow him instead of her, he simply would not be for sale. Fillers aside, this pony is 1000000/10, no notes.
