Angel 16.2hh | 8-Year-Old Thoroughbred Mare | Ex-Racehorse A seriously exciting mare with all the foundations in place to become a quality all-round competition horse. Angel has been thoughtfully and correctly retrained following her racing career, with extensive education that has produced a willing, athletic and genuine mare. She has completed approximately 150 days of professional schooling, attended numerous arena hires, cross-country schooling sessions and outings, and is now ready to continue her education with someone wanting to put their own stamp on her. Having recently weaned her foal, Angel is just coming back into work. She has been a fantastic mother, and is now ready to focus on the next chapter of her career. She is an elegant mover with three balanced paces, schools beautifully on the flat and is already showing excellent ability over poles and fences. Previously schooled to 1m, she has all the attributes to progress through the levels. We feel she would be particularly well suited to eventing, although she would equally excel in riding club activities, dressage or showjumping. Angel enjoys her work and thrives on a consistent routine. She doesn’t need hours of exercise each day regular, quality work is what brings out the very best in her. She hacks happily in company and is sensible in traffic. When hacking alone she appreciates a confident rider, as is typical of many intelligent Thoroughbreds.
