Welsh Section A Mare

River – 6-Year-Old, 11hh Welsh Section A Mare River is only available as she has sadly been outgrown, and it’s time for her little rider to move on to the next pony. She is a genuine family pony who is handled, groomed and fussed over daily by children, and absolutely loves the attention. She was professionally backed beginning 2025 and has since been used as a lead rein pony, ridden by both a 4-year-old and an 11-year-old. She happily hacks alone or in company, is good in open spaces, and has attended numerous local shows, always taking everything in her stride. Although she is a lovely, sensible girl, she is still green when ridden off the lead rein due to her age and limited mileage. She has attended one First Ridden show where she behaved like an absolute superstar, proving how willing and genuine she is. With a little more education, she has all the potential to make a fantastic First Ridden or junior pony. River has a kind, easy-going temperament and is the type of pony you can leave for a month and then hop straight back on without any fuss. She isn’t spooky or silly and has a brilliant attitude to work, always trying her best to please. She is easy to catch, handle, groom, tack up and load, stands happily for the farrier, and is a pleasure to have around the yard. She really is a much-loved family pony who deserves the very best home. This is a heartbreaking sale, so a five-star home is an absolute must.
