🦄 FRANK — 14.2hh GELDING FOR FULL LOAN / SHARE
Frank is looking for a loaner, either full loan to stay on current yard or a sharer who can do 3/4 days a week. He’s an 18yo, 14.2hh gelding based in Derby who would suit someone who wants a fun, genuine pony to enjoy and have some adventures with.
Frank is an ex riding school pony and has been ridden by novice riders, but he is not suitable for a wobbly beginner. He’s a good boy who takes confidence from his rider and although he can be a little spooky when hacking alone, he wouldn’t do anything naughty and is generally very sensible. There are plenty of people at the yard who would be more than willing to hack out with you.
He has had a little time off, so his fitness will need building back up, but he's been sat on a couple of times over the past few weeks and hasn't put a foot wrong🥰
If wanted, Frank can happily pop around up to 80cm SJ course (not spooky or a stopper) and would make a super little pony club/ low level all-rounder pony with the opportunity to compete in 2027 for the right person. He’s the sort of pony who would enjoy having a job and getting out and about again. He would also be happy just being a happy hacker, the yard we are on has hours of off-road hacking routes to enjoy!
Just to make it clear:
Frank is currently unfit and will need bringing back into work gradually (lots of hacking!).
Frank lives out 24/7 during the summer and comes in at night during the depths of winter.
Parting loaning would include, on your days, you’d be expected to do one end of the day, but we do have other horses on the yard, so there will always be someone around to help if needed. A financial contribution will be required.
Full loaning would include, all day to day care and ongoing expenses to be covered by the loaner.
