"Polly" Bay Mare All Rounder

Polly 🤎 a sweet, mellow mare with a kind and gentle personality, competition experience, and great technique over fences 🤎
Polly is a 15.2h 4yo Irish draught cross bay mare. She has a very relaxed and levelheaded personality, and is exceptionally quiet alone in new places and hectic environments
She has been competing in unregistered showjumping competitions with us and proves to stay very quiet, brave and honest on course. She is not at all hot, spooky, or excitable around new jumps or chaotic warm up rings
Polly enjoys cross country schooling and has no issue with water or coffins
She loves hacking out, alone or with others. She’s very quiet around traffic, machinery, and cows, and happy to lead other horses or follow. She is also well behaved on her own or with others in open fields
Polly has a soft mouth and always goes in a loose ring snaffle. She is a ‘more woah than go’ ride and would suit a nervous rider who prefers quiet, relaxed paces
Polly is not mareish in any way and gets along well with other horses. She can live in or out without getting fresh
She is gentle and patient for handling and riding. Because she is so calm and forgiving of rider errors, we think Polly would best suit a teen looking to produce/grow with their horse, an older rider looking for a safe riding club mount, or a family looking for a safe allrounder who will happily do a bit of everything.
Polly is easy for anyone to handle, catch, load, tie, shoe, plait, bathe, mount, etc. She has no vices, lumps, or bumps.
She is open to any vetting
