ROBBIE – SUPER-FUN ALL-ROUNDER 13.1hh | 9yo Gelding | Based Hockley, Essex Robbie is a kind, fun and versatile pony who would make a fantastic all-rounder for a confident child wanting to enjoy a bit of everything. In the school, Robbie is angelic. We have been using him to teach a little girl to canter, and he has looked after her beautifully. He is sensible and genuine while still being responsive and enjoyable to ride. He is also a super-fun jumping pony. We have comfortably jumped him around 80cm courses, and he has plenty of scope to go higher, he also wouldn’t mind jumping the 50’s. He enjoys his jumping, is quick on his feet and loves having a job—we could see him absolutely thriving in a mounted games home! Robbie is a good boy to hack and enjoys getting out and about. He can be impatient when asked to stand still as he would much rather be getting on with the adventure, so this is something that could improve with practice. We have been told that he can occasionally throw in an excited buck, although we have never seen this ourselves—even when he has had plenty of opportunity to do so. A lovely pony with lots to offer, whether that’s jumping, hacking, mounted games, pony club or general all-round fun. Robbie would be a brilliant partner for a child wanting a genuine pony to enjoy, compete and make plenty of memories with.
