"Hattie " Chestnut Mare All Rounder

With a very heavy heart I am looking to find a new home my beautiful horse Hattie! She is my baby, I have had her since she was 18 months old and she will be 6 in April.

She is 15.1 (ish) not measured in a while so maybe a bit taller. Arab x thoroughbred x welsh cob.

Hattie has been bought on slowly and sensibly- professionally backed in the summer of 2024, ridden lightly through that winter and last summer. She is now being schooled and hacked a little more and enjoying her job.

She loves to hack, so far nothing has phased her. She has done loads of in hand trec work, umbrella over the head, over plastic the whole shebang without a care. She has also been on a busy livery since I have had her, so not much she hasn’t seen. Works in plastic snaffle she’s so lovely through the mouth, just think stop and go and she’s with you.

She is coming along beautifully, but needs someone who’s going to continue working with her and bringing her on. I would love this to be me, but I have 2 under 2 and really don’t have the time.

It’s a classic case of great horse, wrong time for me. She will be a lot of fun for someone to bring on and enjoy.

She’s happy enough in and out, but much happier being out in the field.

I really just want to find her the best home possible.

She can come with tack and rugs.
