Excellent for shrimp and fry to hide in. ​Care Needs: Thrives in cooler to moderate temperatures (18°C to 26°C). Needs low-to-moderate water flow to prevent water pooling on top of leaves. ​Dwarf Water Lettuce * Description: Soft, ribbed, velvety leaves with thick root networks that pull nitrates quickly from the water column. ​Care Needs: Prefers warm water (22°C to 28^°C)and bright, direct lighting. Keep away from strong filter splashes, as wet leaves can cause melting. ​Giant Duckweed * Description: Larger and much easier to manage than regular duckweed, with distinct purple undersides. ​Care Needs: Extremely hardy and fast-growing under almost any lighting or water condition.
