Dose not leak I built a stand / head board for my bed, it stands tall so the tank sat above my bed, like a head board. I would suggest taking two L brackets an Fixing the stand to a fixed secure wall to prevent top heavy leaning. The tank will/should sit level on the stand with it filled with water. But it's ur choice to take the stand with it together its 125 ,without stand and just the tank is 75, fyi the stand isn't pretty looking the raw wood isn't painted, but it's a very strong stand.
