Sterlets

Hi. I'm looking at building a 'pond' for some sterlets, but not a traditional round pond. Imagine a doughnut the middle being an island bog. It'll be filtered and aerated etc. . It'll be 12000ltr, 4ft deep, 1metre between each wall (where the water will be). Is that enough depth and turning space?
