wanted, or help practical advice Hi admin I hope this ask is ok Brighton /sussex area I have 2 tanks, A corner unit jewel trigon 180 and a small 20x20x60. both have common and albino plecs the corner unit has as above plus red robin gourami and yellow labs My issue is plants, or lack of established healthy plants too improve water quality etc. the problem with any plant and I though is im clueless and useless keeping anything green alive. That or the fish manage too eat what is left of any withering greenery. the smaller tank has far less gravel than the larger so rooting anything is an issue, the corner unit has a mix of substrate & gravel 2-3cm deep but putting new plants in seems always a bust Is there anyone out there that has any plants that are established already attached on some rock or wood that are willing too part with I can collect within a few miles of Btn/hove via a mobility scooter & happy too trade decorations and air line filters of various types. the fish are health but without stating the obvious, active plants would be a bonus in either tank. when green fingers were being handed out I guess I was sat on my hands ! Ty for any help or input See less

Northampton – does anyone have an old/unwanted aquarium bits? Most importantly, a filter, or air pump/stone. Open to anything I'm preparing to rehome some rescued fish in a large tank, which wasn't planned (at all). I have very few plants, some stones, fish food but I most importantly need a filter, more plants or floaters, and an air pump/stone as a priority. I'd be very grateful for anything you could spare and able to pick up on Wednesday evening or Thursday morning Thank you. See less

Fish safe Climbing wall plants Looking for a bit of advice regarding flowering wall plants that are safe for ponds if the leaves or petals were to go in. The pond is almost finished but behind is a not very nice concrete wall/fence. It used to be all covered in ivy which I’ve removed (one panel left) and we have new lattice panels coming to cover the wall but looking for suggestions for fish safe wall climbing plants similar to a wisteria, jasmine or clematis etc. Any recommendations? Or any to avoid? Thanks See less
