Hey guys, due to the loss of my arrowana and wanting to start again with the tank to go marine... I have available 6x Cichla ocellaris peacock bass all around 10months old. These have always been together and have grown from half an inch long. All eating pellets and frozen food. These are very aggressive and won't tolerate anything smaller than their massive mouths, as they will just eat them when lights go out... No matter how much you've fed the bass! Smallest is roughly 4.5 inches mouth to tail and the biggest is a unit (nowhere near full grown) at 8.5 inches! These are in my 6x2x2ft sumped setup fed twice a day. Will need same size or larger tank! I also have a pair of bichirs available too. These have paired up and are inseparable. Don't know if they can be captive bred but these hold fins and try to tie up all the time! One is a platinum bicher (not albino as no red eyes) and the other is an ornate. Both around 8inches long and feeding on frozen fish, shrimp, muscles and will take pellet happily! Pretty placid but don't be fooled these will eat whatever sits still on the bottom of smaller than their mouths. Located in bury St Edmunds Would ideally like something for the fish but I'm realistic and don't hope for my purchase prices back If interested in the bass or bichirs pm me. My main light unit has failed and I'm struggling to show the colours of the bass due to this!! I would like to see tank size before agreeing to let the bass go obviously. Sorry for tank looking soo bad! I'll try get better photos as the sun goes away haha See less
