"Fly" Chestnut Gelding Riding Club Horse

Fly is a 14 year old 14.2 competition type pony looking for a new home on behalf of his owner, who is no longer able to ride for health reasons. I have known him since she bought him as a 6 year old and think the world of him so keen to find the perfect home.

He’s previously travelled the country doing mounted games and has done many stay away shows on his own. Since stopping games he has done fun rides, hunter trials, SJ, XC schooling etc and would love to see him in a varied and active home as he thrives on having a job to do.

He’s previously been on loan to a petite 14 year old until the autumn and she did various bits with him however found him too much on the ground so will only be going to an experienced home - happy to discuss this in more depth.

Ridden wise, he’s good as gold and a lot of fun, fast and forward with good brakes. Will hack alone and in company, is super brave and bold to fences and goes off any stride.

The ideal home would be a competitive, gutsy older child or small adult that wants to have fun and isn’t going to be put off by him jogging from time to time. Cannot stress enough that he doesn’t bolt/ buck/ rear etc he just wants to get on with the job at hand.

He will not be sold to a mounted games home as he never really liked to be vaulted and is much happier doing everything else.
