LIVERY SPACES AVAILABLE – GERMANSWEEK (EASILY ACCESSIBLE FROM THE A30 & A3079), DEVON I’ve loved horses for as long as I can remember. From being a little girl (my second word was “orsey” ), horses have been a huge part of my life. I’ve dedicated years to learning, working and building my experience around them. I’ve worked long hours, missed family occasions, lived on very little, lost sleep, trained, competed, gained qualifications, made mistakes, picked myself back up and kept going. There have been plenty of tears and sweat along the way, but also an enormous amount of laughter, smiles, incredible horses and some very special friendships. Everything I’ve done has brought me to where I am today — and I’m now lucky enough to be able to offer other owners a place to enjoy their horses too. From this experience, my husband James and I have built a purpose-built, horse-led yard, with top-class facilities designed with horses and their owners in mind. It’s something we’ve worked incredibly hard to create, and we’re really proud of what we’ve built. The basic needs of every horse are covered 7 days a week, with additional services available to build around that. Whether you’re a busy owner who needs more support, someone who likes to do most things themselves, a happy hacker, or a competitive rider wanting somewhere to train, I’m happy to discuss what works for you. If your favourite thing is simply going for a long hack, spending time with your horse and enjoying having them, you’re just as welcome. I’m particularly passionate about creating a yard where people can enjoy their horses and feel comfortable being themselves. Everyone has different goals and different circumstances, and I want to be able to accommodate that. From the horse who is happiest out hacking all day to the horse and rider with bigger ambitions, there’s room for both. I’ve spent a huge part of my life working towards creating the kind of environment I would want for my own horses, and James and I have put that experience into building a yard that reflects exactly that.
