"Teddy" Gelding Lead Rein/First Ridden Pony

Ted is a wonderful example of a true Welsh pony full of personality and charm. Anyone familiar with Welshies will know just how special they can be, and Ted is no exception.

He has been a fantastic lead rein pony both with us and in his two previous homes, and would also make a lovely second ridden pony for a more confident child. He’s very adaptable to his rider, happily steadying down for younger children but also able to step things up when asked.

My daughter has ridden him while being led from another horse and he behaved impeccably. He hacks out confidently on his own and is sensible on grass while on the lead rein.

Ted is handled daily by my daughter and is incredibly kind and patient with them. He’s used to a busy family environment children running around him, shouting unexpectedly, grooming him for hours, and mucking out around him none of it bothers him.

He is easy to manage in every way: good for the farrier, dentist, physio, clipping, loading, catching, etc. In a previous home he attended Pony Club activities, and with us he has enjoyed local shows. He is up to date with farrier, dentist and physio appointments.

Finding the right home is extremely important to us, and he will only be sold to a family where we feel he will be loved and suited!
